V-Day is a week away!!

Valentine's Day is a tough one. It's not a holiday like Christmas where you can go balls to the wall with a the biggest and bestest gift ever. I like to think of V-Day as a good time for a simple little "hey, I love you" reminder. On the other hand, there are some that appraoch the day with a "Hey!! I'm going to drown us both in a sea of pink and red hearts because I LOVE YOU!!!!" This is a quintessential less-is-more situation. Here are a couple do's and don't's for Valentine gift giving.

DON'T!!!!!

The Heart Boxers have been done over and over and over..... Yes, they are cute and they make you giggle, but they probably make him sigh in defeat. Wouldn't you rather give him something he can wear with pride?? Such as.....

DO!!!!

This great cashmere scarf!! This great gift will show him that you appreciate the finer things in life and that you treat those you love like royalty. Just because it isn't covered in hearts doesn't mean he won't be reminded of your love everytime he puts in on.

DON'T!!!

I know I said before that you don't have to go all out on your gift for your Valentine, but there's a difference between saving some money and just being cheap. Nothing says "You're about #4 on my life's priority list" like drugstore box of chocolates. Don't. Just don't. Instead....

DO!!!!
